Canon Pixma MP170 support maybe?

I've recentry got Canon Pixma MP170 (multifunctional drvice (2in1 scanner and printer)).
Anybody got this working on arch?

Since Canon does not care about Linux, there are only two chances:
1. Undigging something usable out of Canon's japanese FTP site (not too likely).
For the moment, nothing is in there:

2. Warm up the 29.95 euros in your pocket and hope the next Turboprint version will support the printer part of it (that's more likely).
As for the scanner part, things look bleak...
The hardcore solution: Install Vmware player (free), ask a friend of yours with a full VMware licence to create for you a windows (any supported, or any you have a licence for...) virtual machine, and use that one to print/scan with the Canon drivers for windows... I know it sounds absolutely ugly, but blame Canon for that.

I have Windows, but i just hate rebooting. Thanks for your answer, i think i will use windows for printing/scaning.
