Installation on a CPU without PAE

Hi, is it possible to install ArchLinux on a system with a non-PAE cpu? (intel centrino dothan)

My hardware is an ancient Dell Latitude D800 which is running Linux Mint 11 with no pae kernel. I cannot upgrade because a pae kernel is required and it can't be run on it.

See https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/34324 - Arch Linux stock kernel doesn't have PAE enabled for the 32-bit package.
