Using Catalyst just for Opencl

Hello

I just bought an AMD R7 card, it is possible to use the intel iGPU for video output and install the Catalyst Driver only for OpenCL?

Have I missed something or have Intel released something new? I'm having an extremely hard time believing that an Intel GPU would perform better than an AMD R7. Or is it something other than performance that is bothering you? Why not just go with the R7 all out?  Both the catalyst-stable and catalyst packages from wirephire is extremely well.
