Re: Musca (Tiling Window Manager)

When I am in stacking mode is it possible to bind the resize key to alt + left click  instead of ctrl + right lick

Re: Musca (Tiling Window Manager)

Automatically putting clients on specific workspaces - like i3.

in i3 i can use assign command so that particular client is opened in someother worksapce.

Also if possible can i place specific client in a specified frame number whenever it opens

Re: Musca (Tiling Window Manager)

I know Musca is not being developed any more but it's still great to use.
My question is the author uses his other program "simple switcher" with his other WM called goowm
does simple switcher work with Musca for showing running apps and switching to them?

You can like linux without becoming a fanatic!

Re: Musca (Tiling Window Manager)

Musca has EWMH support, for this is probably that works.

I love GnuEmacs, GnuScreen, ratpoison, and conkeror.

Re: Musca (Tiling Window Manager)

Haha, same here.  I'm definitely a fan from back when.  herbstluftwm is the closest to musca I can find that is actively developed and actually has many features I wanted in musca, although I would like to see a "catchall" and "dedicated" frame.  Absolutely loved that functionality in musca!  smile
