kernel menuconfig

hello,
I just love Arch  big_smile and I'm really happy to use it
I'm looking to update my 2.4.24 kernel but I can't find the usual

cd /usr/src/linux
make menuconfig

and I've got:

make: *** No rule to make target `menuconfig'.  Stop.

I'm surprise to see just a folder named Include and a file .conf in the linux folder
is there a wiki or help somewhere about this point
thank you very much

Re: kernel menuconfig

all that the arch kernel package includes in /usr/src are the header files necessary for building other application/libs etc. it is not a a full source. you will have to download a full vanilla source from kernel.org.
