[SOLVED] System freezes when starts using swap

When my system starts using swap, it completely freezes. Switching to tty doesn't work either.
There is already a topic on this problem, but the only advice it has is "use zswap" or "do not open 20 tabs at the same time", which is not really a solution imho.

I'm using a swap file in my home dir with swapon.

Can you post the relevant configuration files and do you have a log of a crash?

There is not much configuration going on.
What I do is this.

I'm kind of new to Arch Linux (used Ubuntu for a long time). How can I enable or see logs in Arch?

You have to do mkswap every time. I didn't know that.
Problem solved.
