Recently, spell checking in Firefox on my computer changed from using an American to a British English dictionary. Words like "favor" are now rejected in favor of "favour." Both Firefox and hunspell/hunspell-en were recently updated, and I suspect one of them is the culprit.
Does anybody know what might be the problem, and how I might fix it?

Solved: the Firefox preference "spellchecker.dictionary" had somehow gotten set to "en_HK".

Has this solution solved your problem indefinitely or does it keep going back to UK english?
