Hello,
I´ve used Kubuntu some days ago on my brothers PC.
There was one thing i really liked.
ALL links, folders,... i´ll startin konqueror opens in tabs. So if konqueror is running no other window is created.
An example.
I´m running konqueror with some websites opened in it. Than i´ll look for something in my home-folder, so i click the "home-icon" on my Desktop (or somewhere else). In Kubuntu the Folder is opened in a new TAB in Arch a new window will appears.
I´ve searched in konquerors properties but i couldn´t find a solution yet.
Maybe someone can help me. Would be great!
Thanks a lot

The UI way:
Configure Konqueror > Web behaviour > Open links in new tabs instead of new windows
Configure Konqueror > Web behaviour > Advanced Options > Open as new tab in existing Konqueror when URL is called externally
The config way:
in file ~/.kde/share/config/konquerorrc under section [FMSettings] add/edit:
AlwaysNewWin=false
AlwaysTabbedMode=false
KonquerorTabforExternalURL=true
I'm not sure if this is exactly what you want. Also keep in mind that this works as long as the calling application/link is on the same desktop.
