Arch + vanilla slimv

Out of curiosity, is any user of slimv (and Arch of course), able to run the swank server that comes included with slimv? I installed slimv from its homepage but when I try to run it, I keep getting different errors. The latest one is:

debugger invoked on a SB-INT:SIMPLE-FILE-ERROR in thread
#<THREAD "main thread" RUNNING {1002B2AF33}>:
  Couldn't load #P"/home/user/.vim/bundle/slim.vim/slime/start-swank.lisp":
  file does not exist.

But I am able to run slime an swank with no problem if I use the vanilla sources from the github repo mentioned here.

So, while I'm aware that the problem might be in the upstream slimv sources, and not in Arch, I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem (google searches not having been that productive...).

Note: I deleted the compiled code in ~/.slime, just to be sure, before attempting to start swank.
