[SOLVED] Camera does not automount with gvfs-gphoto2

Hi,
I am running Arch with i3wm.
I am trying to get my Canon Powershot S100 camera to show up in Thunar when connected via USB
I have gvfs-gphoto2 installed, using Thunar as file manager, have Thunar-volman installed.
I can acces the camera through the gphoto2 command-line program, but nothing is showing up in Thunar.
I have tried pcmanfm and Nautilus as well with no luck.
Inserting a USB pen drive gets mounted automatically.
I need some pointers to where to start debugging?

EDIT:
As this wiki page says I should have granted access automatically
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Digital_Cameras
But I had to invoke
/usr/lib/libgphoto2/print-camera-list udev-rules version 175 group camera > /etc/udev/rules.d/40-gphoto.rules
to make it work. Maybe there is something wrong with my udev permissions.
