The end of ck-patches? Huh? Did I miss something?

Should we consider it as the end of ck-patches?
On what do you base your question?

1st, there was one end
2nd, more than one month of inactivity

Not sure what #1 means...
For #2, CK's blog would indicate otherwise. I don't think that "inactivity" is a fair assessment. CK often does not go public with interim patches. I could be that most of the work is done, but a critical show stopper has yet to be solved. This was been the case in the past.

I disagree... we are missing the context behind that choice back in 2007. Just hang in there, CK will get the BFS port to 3.13.

graysky, I hope so. I usually use two kernels: ck and lqx. As you can assume, I use lqx, but without Con's patches.

1. lov how ck makes my small Ivy run all these tasks usually faster than I do so Thank you
2. regarding previous posts I respect people who take care of context
3. Got 2 errors updating to {linux,virtualbox-}ck-ivybridge 3.13.5-2 today. Wouldn't find 'post_upgrade':

Guys - please take non-repo issues to their own thread (ie bootloaders).
@siamer - You need to sign my key:
http://repo-ck.com wrote:...
Add and sign graysky's key:pacman-key -r 5EE46C4C && pacman-key --lsign-key 5EE46C4C
...
I have same problem again! Why arch is not remember that I added that key ? any idea ? that's the only extra repo that I'm using...
[edit]
Just want to let you know that
siamer@bridgelinux ~ # uname -r
3.13.5-2-ck
is working fine for me so something was wrong with kernel before

/tmp/alpm_lh2Cc5/.INSTALL: line 24: syntax error: unexpected end of file

The errors with virtualbox were my fault... gg=G without thinking. Fixed now thanks.

awesome work again graysky! Thanks for the quick updates to your packages, using them on all my machines nearly since you put them up the first time, without any major hiccups!

Just dropping in to say thank you for compiling and hosting the ck patched kernels. Kind of out-of-topic question: how do you afford to host so much bandwidth? I saw the stats and didn't realize so much data was transfered!! Amazing. Thank you for as well.

You're both welcome. It's my way of giving back to the community. The hosting plans are not that expensive actually... You can also negotiate a cheaper rate when you deal with inept tech support and threaten to leave for a more competent web host. They would rather bleed you each month for a little less than they advertise than the alternative which is no bleed at all.

Only difference is upstream patches and one Arch patch: http://pkgbuild.com/git/aur-mirror.git/ … ee275bbdf0
Try 3.13.6-ARCH from [testing]?

Hey guys.
I haven't been able to use kvm with the last two kernels.
I get a kernel oops and qemu just hangs. Has anyone else seen this?
Cheers

Hey graysky, I'm having suspend problems with 3.13.6-1-ck on a Dell Inspiron 3520. I've done plenty of googling and so far no good. Any suggestions? I'm on linux-ck-sandybridge, ck-sandybridge-headers, and ck-vbox-host-modules.
