[SOLVED] Install HDvid codec pack in firefox

Some internet pages requires me to install HDvid codec pack in firefox to view its content correctly but this codec pack is for  Win*** OSes so anybody knows if there is an equivalent codec package for firefox under Linux?

Can you post the link to the Windows version? Maybe it's just a malicious warning wanting to trick you into installing some crap.

A quick search shows that it is malware.

I don't want to post links as even the hit that taked about it being malware doesn't feel right to me.
