Installing multable xorg-video drivers on an SD card

Hello all, I'm looking for some help.. I remember reading something about being able to install every xorg-video drivers on a external USB drive, However I can't for the life of me find it again! What I came here for is to ask if it is possible for me to install the entire Xorg group without any problems? Or if I need to install them a special way so that during boot time it picks which ones to use? Thanks in advance and sorry for my noobishness! smile

Re: Installing multable xorg-video drivers on an SD card

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/In … eo_drivers says "The use of proprietary video drivers is not recommended for this type of installation."

Give it a go, see if you need to change the configuration between nouveau, ati and intel or does the X server figures things out on its own.
See also mkinitcpio and the kernel modules.
