Running `efibootmgr -v` results in a core dump

System:
  Gigabyte GA-Z87N-WIFI
  Intel i5-4440

When I run

   efibootmgr

I get a list of EFI boot entries

When I run

   efibootmgr -v

I get a long list of stuff that included dynamically linked libraries followed by a core dump when it gets to the USB flash disk the ISO is booted from:

  ...
  ffffffffff600000 ffffffffff601000 r-xp 00000000 00:00 0     [vsyscall]
  Boot0004* UEFI: A-DATA USB Flash Drive 1100Aborted (core dumped)

I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else.  I can't find a bug report in the bug list searching for "efibootmgr"
