If unpluged, shuts down

If I unplug my laptop it shuts down even though my battery is fully charged. I did some searching and googled around and had no luck. Not even sure where to start. Can anyone help me?

Re: If unpluged, shuts down

I would suspect ACPI. Try unplugging when xorg isn't running, and you've killed acpid.

Re: If unpluged, shuts down

Thank you for your answer brebs. You guessed right. If I am not running X unplugging is fine. Not sure what the next steps are.

Re: If unpluged, shuts down

I don't even have acpid installed. I remember this worked fine a month ago when I was installing arch from scratch. I got openbox installed. But I haven't really tested unpluging my comp since so I am thinking some update must have messed something up or maybe I did.
