vsftpd requires libcap
The current version of vsftpd (2.0.4-1) seems to require libcap but pacman does not enforce this. Sorry if this is not the correct place to post this. I wasn't sure how to contact the maintainer, Judd Vinet, so I thought I'd just post a quick note here.

The best place to post things like this is the bug tracker: http://bugs.archlinux.org/ Register yourself and fill a bug report.
