Hi, i'm using a usb headset with a external power source. If I turn on my computer before connecting the headset my alsa deas not recognize the device.
Sometimes i forget to put on the headset first, so i need to reboot!
I want know if have how i restar ALSA without reboot!
I've read something, but it was everything about ubuntu and Debian. So didn't work here!

On Debian, and other systems: /etc/init.d/alsa-utils restart

udev will automatically probe your hardware at boot, loading the corresponding kernel module for your audio card.
What about manually loading the module?

i have a alsa config file to set up my usb device as default. But it need to be connected at the boot!

You are probably thinking about unloading and reloading the ALSA kernel modules.
