Re: bomi - A powerful and easy-to-use multimedia player!

@bernd_b I'm not sure because my test case(Geforce 9600 GT) does not show any problem. But definitely there are some differences because 9600GT supports up to OpenGL 3.1 but your GPU supports only 2.1. For now, I can't consider anything I can do.

@Kosava: Does your system have xscreensaver package?

@sl1pkn07: Can I get a reference or document for MPIRS spec? I cannot even find what it is.

@Kosava: Can you try mpv --heartbeat-cmd="xscreensaver-command -deactivate &" ?

Re: bomi - A powerful and easy-to-use multimedia player!

I have just recompiled cmplayer-git and I hate to say it but I have lost 5.1 sound.

The rear left/right channels are going to the front left/right.

A recompiled mpv-build-git plays the 5.1 sound OK.

Re: bomi - A powerful and easy-to-use multimedia player!

@gabu When did you try it? I also found the problem too, and committed a fix few hours ago. I'm sorry to bother you but please try again and let me know the result.

Re: bomi - A powerful and easy-to-use multimedia player!

Just run 'mpv --heartbeat-cmd="xscreensaver-command -deactivate &" <file>' in console.

@Kosava I have no idea. Do other players work for you? For instance, smplayer also provides same functionality.

What's the output of 'xset -q'?

Edit: Sorry, found it https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 4#p1390354
Have you tried disabling DPMS?

Re: bomi - A powerful and easy-to-use multimedia player!

Hello xylosper !
I discovered cmplayer a few days ago and I have to say that it's very promising. I'm seriously considering to make it my default player ! Good job !

However, I discovered that some subtitles weren't affected by my preferences ...
Is it a known issue ? These subtitles are modified by smplayer preferences ...
Here is the mediainfo of the file : http://pastebin.com/Z9LiYQZG

Re: bomi - A powerful and easy-to-use multimedia player!

Yes, you're right. Internal subtitles aren't affected by preferences.
Only external subtitles(subtitle files) can be configured currently.
I think I can fix this but there will be some limitations because internal subtitles are rendered by mpv.

Re: bomi - A powerful and easy-to-use multimedia player!

I ran a software update earlier but now I get this error.

cmplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libavfilter.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Any ideas?

Re: bomi - A powerful and easy-to-use multimedia player!

Okay ! It would be very good to have the ability to modify the rendering of internal subtitles, even if it's limited smile
