Can someone help with the installation of Archlinux? After setting up the hard drives and selected the packages i want to install (base-iso) i am getting an error when trying to install glibc. The error is this: db_write:no such file or directory.I asked some users over mirc and they told that they had the same problem and updated the db manually.can this be done while still in install?any other suggestion?
Thanks

well first off you should not be getting this error. have you checked the md5sum to make sure your iso was not corrupted?
on the otherhand the the slocate pacakge on the cd does have issues but those should only rear their ugly head after install not during and is fixed by upgrading slocate.
but i digress...

Well the iso's md5sum was eb574b236133e60c989c6f472f07827b and i got eb574b236133e60c989c6f472f07827b . i presume it is corrupted!

Did you remember to select DONE after doing your partitions and mount points? If not it probably didn't mount the partitions properly and you're running out of space on your ramfs.
