Hi
Is it possible to install arch to Google Nexus 7 or any other similar tablet?

A quick/simple Google search lead me to this. It seems to be fairly recent/up to date; or if not will at least serve as a starting point.

There's https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=168828 but I'm not sure if it's for "similar tablets".

All these links show that arch is heading towards tablets also and that nice. Thanks guys

Arch won't head anywhere by itself, somebody has to write and maintain the code ;P
I'm not sure how many people are doing that, compared to people focused on x86 and PCs.

It doesn't have to head very far as it is mostly there. The main issue is accelerated graphics. The freedreno project (for example) is moving along nicely, however trying to get accelerated graphics working on an actual tablet instead of the dev board is a pain

of course - yes. You must be rooted. The program called "linux deploy" and it will allow you to run some linux distros (including arch linux) in chroot mode.
Allergic to admins&moderators. They scare me.

What about multitouch?
As far as i know, but i may be wrong, things like pinch to zoom and similar gestures don't work.
