Laptop Fan Lenovo IdeaPad Y500

Hi,

I' trying to control the laptop fan on a Lenovo Y500.
I followed the wiki article on fancontrol and also tryied tp-fand, but both dont seem to find any fans.

My laptop is never going into full fan speed, one of the fans isn't working at all I think.
I made a stress test with arch and windows and compared the results.

Are there any other options I can try?

Re: Laptop Fan Lenovo IdeaPad Y500

Is the machine supported by thinkpad_acpi? If not, this may be the reason why tp-fand is not working:
