Wireless Interface Immediately Deauthenticating [SOLVED]

So I have a rather peculiar situation. I know for a fact that my wireless NIC works, because I can use it booting from an install disc. But, something in my actual installation seems to be causing the interface to instantly deauthenticate, reason 3. Problem is, I can't seem to figure out what that thing is. I use netctl, and I don't have any other daemons installed, let alone running. In addition, as per the wiki, I tried turning off power saving, but my card doesn't even support that, so no luck there. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

And, to aid any prospective aid, some logs (forgive any mistakes, I had to type them out on my tablet).

Some relevant dmesg bits:

[ +0.033698] systemd[1]: Configuration file /etc/systemd/system/netctl@wlp4s0\x2dMorris.service is marked world-inaccessible. This has no effect as configuration data is accessible via APIs without restrictions. Proceeding anyway.
...
[ +0.014522] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wlp4s0: link is not ready
...
[ +0.943272] wlp4s0: authenticate with 00:7f:28:d8:d6:52
[ +0.022278] wlp4s0: send auth to 00:7f:28:d8:d6:52 (try 1/3)
[ +0.001907] wlp4s0: authenticated
[ +0.001366] wlp4s0: associate with 00:7f:28:d8:d6:52 (try 1/3)
[ +0.003864] wlp4s0: RX AssocResp from 00:7f:28:d8:d6:52 (capab=0x431 status=0 aid=10)
[ +0.000071] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): wlp4s0: link becomes ready
[ +0.000110] wlp4s0: associated
[ +0.225400] wlp4s0: deauthenticating from 00:7f:28:d8:d6:52 by local choice (reason=3)

To be honest, I don't quite know what else would be useful, and I don't especially want to type it out if I don't have to. Please let me know, though, if there are any other prudent logs, and I'll be sure to get them for you. Thanks again!

Re: Wireless Interface Immediately Deauthenticating [SOLVED]

could be dhcpcd related, check https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=177017 .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Re: Wireless Interface Immediately Deauthenticating [SOLVED]

I know you said you've no other daemons running.  Please verify that includes dhcpcd.service.

Re: Wireless Interface Immediately Deauthenticating [SOLVED]

Stopping dhcpcd did the trick, didn't know that was in the mix. Thanks ewaller!
