[SOLVED] Hang at "triggering uevents" after pacman -Syu

Well the title says it all, did a pacman -Syu to update my system and now upon boot it just hangs at triggering uevents.. any idea what would have caused this?

You might need to check your logs via a live iso see what you updated recently that may have caused the problem.

Check the logs for any errors that occurred during the update you might have missed. When was the last time you've updated (before this one that it)?
You can even chroot and try to update again.

Hey it had been about 2 weeks since I updated last.. turns out I just had to wait a couple minutes and it went and booted up and now it boots right away without pausing there.. guess I just need more patience smile Thanks guys
