I have installed Arch on an Acer c720 Chromebook. I followed the wiki all the way through and ran the script that installs the proper kernel patches to get the touchpad working. The issue I have is the touchpad isn't even being recognized. I can't paste any results because I only have the base system installed, but here is what I have tried:
cat /proc/bus/input/devicesThere is no mention of a touchpad or mouse.
dmesgThere is no mention of a touchpad or mouse.
To me it's clear that the touchpad isn't even being recognized. Any ideas on what to do next?

There is a thread devoted to running Arch on this particular machine, there might be something helpful there.

I'm in the exact same situation with an HP14 Chromebook. I had crunchbang installed then gave up and installed Arch, think that would solve my issue since there's documented support for the chromebook touchpad issue...but nothing. It seems like most people aren't haven't an issue with this anymore because all the help I've gotten is the same as you - a point in the direction of the wiki which I already followed.
