Hello!
I would like to ask for one thing - i tried running WarThunder under wine but it doesen't work. I don't know what to do to check "logs" from wine, would like to know why it won't run. I installed WarThunder under PlayOnLinux and it works ok. Well, in fact, i just copierd WarThunder folder from ~/.wine to ~/.Playonlinux/wineprefixes, and it just runs great even when i just copied the same files, but under wine it won't launch.
Is there a way to fix it and check why it just won't launch? I would like to use wine because not everything under Playonlinux works - for example, can install steam, but can't run games from it (tried WarThunder for steam and Giana sisters Twisted Dreams, installed ok but error 6034 when launching), while under wine it works ![]()
Help needed.

You won't get much response without any additional information. Here is the documentation on how to get log output from wine. Hopefully, it tells what is wrong.

Did you have a look at: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p … &iId=27317?
There's a tip there about changing a registry key. It might help...

Thanks! I think that this problem is related to memory because on playonlinux i changed memory to 2GB on my GPU (i saw on youtube warthunder running on playonlinux with mint, and they told to do so). Only one problem - how to change registry values under Wine [:|] - ok, found it. Well, wine is not user friendly, as a matter of fact, they should do one simple gui for it because all options are on different places, different "window gui". Didn't know that typying regedit in kde when wine is installed , i could change wine registry keys!
Thanks for show me how to log games under wine.

Again, thank you very much. I changed memory size but errors were still present. I changed "default" wine setting from Windows 7 to XP and i could play WarThunder under Wine, just like under PlayOnLinux. In error logs i saw something about unsupported DX11 (strange, it's being emulated and my card has dx11).

The issue is with the d3dx11 renderer. WINE has not fully implemented d3dx11, hence the crashing. You can fix this either by disabling d3dx11 in winecfg, or changing the renderer to 'directX 9ex' in the game settings.
