SMART Failure Predicted on Hard Disk 0

Full error:

SMART Failure Predicted on Hard Disk 0

WARNING: Immediately back-up your data and replace your hard disk drive.  A failure may be imminent.

Press F1 to Continue

The message I'm getting looks to be due to hardware failure but I just wanted to check.  I was following this article to make my system auto login:
http://www.linuxgazette.com/issue72/chung.html

After rebooting I got the above error.  If I press F1 to continue, I goto a grub screen.  Whats the command to boot the kernel from here?

I also updated my system with -Syu after adding the community section, could this be related?

Re: SMART Failure Predicted on Hard Disk 0

BIOS errors are unrelated to Arch.

Do exactly as it says, and back the hell up. Because a failure is imminent or has already occured.

Re: SMART Failure Predicted on Hard Disk 0

I've been using a "smart-failed" hard drive for ages but only for temp storage, briefly testing other distros etc. Don't throw it out if it works from now on without further errors, just don't rely on it.

Thought I'd check though.  Whats the command to boot from the grub prompt?  kernel boot=... I can't remember what to type, I'd like to try and get in so I can save my stuff.
