Part of a surprise for a friends birthday coming up will be to put together some home videos of when we were younger. I'm looking to connect a VHS player to RCA inputs and digitize the videos, and if I have time put together an edited video of the best moments. My linux box is an older desktop, of which it has two RCA (Yellow, Red, and White) inputs.
Has anyone had any experience with these sorts of video cards? Any idea on how I could get that hardware running and what software to use for the digitization?
