HTML5 playback issues only on youtube.com

Hi,
I'm having a very weird issue lately. Playback of HTML5 videos is distorted (audio is fine) only when I play them from youtube.com. If I play some Youtube video embedded on some webpage or some other HTML5 video, there's absolutely no problem. This happens both on Chromium and Firefox (turning brower hardware acceleration on/off has no effects). Is someone else also having this issue? I want to rule out a possible bug from Youtube itself. BTW, I'm using the xf86-intel-driver + mesa drivers.
