I use firefox 28.0-1 package,
since a recent "pacman -Syu" I notice some serious random freezes and crash in firefox,
here are the packages updated, I suspect them to trigger a serious bug in firefox :

the problem occurs randomly, if I open a lot of tabs in firefox the bug can be trigerred after 5~10 minutes

I can confirm, exact same problem here. I even tried to rebuild firefox with no luck.

one possible solution is to rebuild linux-3.14-4 with this patch :

Posting to say "me too".
Firefox 28 on kernel 3.14.0-4 with nvidia drivers and javascript enabled.
With several tabs already open, open new tab to a random site and FF freezes becoming non-responsive.
