[drm:intel_enable_lvds]*ERROR* timed out waiting for panel to power on

This is the error message that is shown when powering up.

It has been an issue with someone else on the forum too, after a little search around the nets I couldn't find a single solution. There was one guy with archbang who, after a kernel update, had it magically fixed.

I'm guessing it has something to do with my volume buttons on my laptop as they don't work.

Also, the little light on my caps lock key doesn't come on anymore.

Does anyone have any ideas? Where I could I have a wee browse to see the conflicts etc. Or even try to load it later in the cycle perhaps?
