ACPI reporting a battery in a desktop.

Really odd. Yesterday it started reporting that I have a battery that is constantly discharging and at 0%. Gnome Shell subsequently also has an annoying icon reporting a full battery.

The output of ACPI is:

~:acpi
Battery 0: Discharging, 0%, rate information unavailable

It's a minor annoyance, and I don't know if anyone has any ideas as to why.

Re: ACPI reporting a battery in a desktop.

There was a big change in the upower API recently...

Any package updates that happened around the time this started happening?

Re: ACPI reporting a battery in a desktop.

Interestingly, I didn't get the upgrade (should mention i'm on testing branch).

Edit: Doh, upower.

cat /var/log/pacman.log | grep upower
[2013-10-26 21:55] [PACMAN] installed upower (0.9.22-1)
[2013-10-29 10:08] [PACKAGEKIT] upgraded upower (0.9.22-1 -> 0.9.23-2)
[2014-04-14 20:10] [PACMAN] upgraded upower (0.9.23-2 -> 0.99.0-2)

It was updated fairly recently, but that wasn't the same day I got issues.
