Infiniband Support

Hey everyone.

I am looking into moving to Archlinux for our server needs at work, and I was wondering if anyone knows the state of Infiniband support? We use Lustre for our storage and most of the storage-focused servers use Infiniband cards to connect to it. I'm hoping that the support is there, but I haven't been able to find any documentation or posts that discuss it.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Infiniband Support

I know this is an ancient thread, but there have been some recent developments. As of kernel 3.14, the infiniband modules are now included in the stock Arch kernel. The rest of the userland utilities are available in the AUR and work as they would in an OFED installation. In my experience opensm can be finicky with systemd so I launch it in a separate boot script. IPoIB and connected mode work as well. Hope that helps.
