Patchage 1.0.0 has just been released. For those who don't know: patchage allows you to easilly route your audio streams when using JACK Audio Connection Kit. This is kind of a big deal when using JACK as it's basically the most important interface you use when making or changing routes.
Version 0.5.0 is available in community, but hasn't been updated since 2012-02-05. In the AUR patchage-svn is available but is also outdated (2011-12-16) and won't compile correctly.
Because Arch Linux intends to be a good platform for pro audio use (according to this wiki page) it is mandatory that patchage is up to date. Therefore I place this request (hopefully in the right place, please correct me if it's not) to update patchage to the latest version.

patchage has just been flagged out-of-date (Flagged out-of-date on 2014-04-29) , so the maintainers of patchage will get an email alerting them.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Ah right, thanks. Don't know how I missed the option to do that.
Do you also happen to know how effective this usually is?

When the maintainers get on to it, test it and so on. Packages can be turned around in minutes, all the way to a couple of weeks, depending on jusy how much changes,
Claire is fine.
Problems? I have dysgraphia, so clear and concise please.

Off-topic: let me adjust your perception here. The wiki is community-maintained, so the presence (or absence) of any particular wiki page has nothing at all to do with Arch Linux's intentions.

Well you're completely right ofcourse, and I actually knew that, so must be some faulty or misleading wording on my part.
The package was updated only a day after it got flagged outdated, so I would say that's an awesome response time! Unfortunately I can't yet get it to play together with jack2, but that's entirely another issue.
