Hi,
HW: Tt eSPORTS Shock ONE + Razer Naga Molten
I'm trying to play some video and audio files in VLC and i get a complete mouse freeze with some of my files but only if i am using the "Tt eSPORTS Shock ONE" headset.
Same mouse but with an external speaker works fine.
Output of lsmod before and after playing a "bad" audio file:
Before: http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=7ppiYtvm
After: http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=7Kvewmqa
It did not occur a single time in chromium (youtube videos for example) but happens almost every time when a wine hosted application tries to play audio.
Whole dmesg output after mouse freeze: http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=VFPSKvwW
Physically unplugging the headset and replugging the mouse solves the problem if
- the application responsible for that sound output is closed (does not matter if the headset is replugged)
OR
- i do not replug the headset at all
When there is constant audio output on the headset and the mouse is frozen my kernel log is spammed with messages like this:
"retire_playback_urb: 860 callbacks suppressed"
It must be kernel related because it does not happen that frequently linux-lts-ck but happens quite often on linux-git kernel.

Maybe try a newer kernel?
fs/super.c : "Self-destruct in 5 seconds. Have a nice day...\n",

I'm not sure if Rexilion's comment was sarcasm, but really if you're having this issue with -git kernel, you should probably talk to kernel devs about this. Unless this also happens with latest standard arch kernels.

My bad, I misread, sorry. Good one.

It happens often on "linux" and "linux-git" but less often on "linux-lts-ck" so "latest standard arch kernel" is affected. Any ideas of troubleshooting this any further?
