rEFInd Won't Install to ESP

I already have rEFInd installed properly but I cleared the nvram of the UEFI, which apparently deletes the rEFInd entry. Each time I run refind-install I run into this:

I've tried to enter it in manually with efibootmgr an it adds it but the entry doesnt work.
