Hi guys,

How do you take screenshots of a rendered browser page?

On Chrome Screen Capture (By Google) is broken for me.

Webpage Screenshot in Firefox won't install on my "Operating System".

GIMP is enough for me. File → Create → From Webpage.

That doesn't work on JS heavy pages like http://imap2json.dabase.com/

Yeah, I know it has a very limited functionality, e.g. it doesn't work if you need to login; but as I said for me is enogh

Although I have not used it, CutyCapt looks promising: http://cutycapt.sourceforge.net/

Nimbus is unstable upon Google Chrome 36.0.1964.2 and feels like malware.

I use Scrapbook on Firefox, but its not exactly a screenshot. It makes a copy of the page that you can edit with tools given through the extension (highlighter, etc.). You can even capture pages X links deep, so selecting 1 means it will capture the page your on and every link off that page. It has a side pane and menu option, so you can access the pages from firefox. All captures are saved in a "Scrapbook" directory in the directory of your profile.

Unless Ive missed what youre asking, that should work. Theres prolly a Chrome version though I havent looked...

What about just a simple quick one in the terminal.

 scrot -s

Just click your open browser and it should save clean shot on your home directory.

webpages are longer than the visible window normally...
