Hi all,
I have a strange problem which I can't figure out whether it lies between the chair and the table or on the table.
Namely, I am usin Prosper to generate LaTeX slides. This morning previewing a produced PS-file gave the following error:
Error: /invalidfont in findfont

When previewing a DVI file there are no fonts displayed. At the same time producing ordinary LaTeX articles there is no problem.
Are there any PostScript related packages updated lately? Any changes in font configuration? Any PS-fonts moved to other place? Anything else that might be wrong?

Yes, sure, but before posting a formal bug report I wanted to be sure that it is not just me doing something silly. Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

I just looked at a PS file produced with prosper and it looks ok.
But maybe this is beacuse it's not using any PS fonts ...
Things that come to mind :
did you recreate ls-lR when installing prosper ?
are you cleaning the temporary created font files ?
How do you use propser ? (I usually create PDF files with it).
This is just guess work.
What happens when you remove all .aux .dvi and produced .ps files and recreate everything again ?

Hi again,
I did some research and I guess prosper is not to be blamed here at all, this was a pure ghostscript issue. I reinstalled ghostscript and now everything works. I still do not know what exactly went wrong, so I probably won't submit a bug report as it will very probably become unreproducable anyway.
