Kernel Panic after upgrade to Linux 3.14 + other programs

I did a full system upgrade today after having some serious new issues with Bumblebee and now I'm getting incessant kernel panics, usually while running the (now-updated) version of Chromium. I'm unsure if the problem is caused by the kernel itself or Chromium, as the computer will do just fine staying idle but will have a kernel panic a few minutes after starting Chromium. However, the dump screen seems to point to other things...since I don't really have a logging system outside of anything Arch comes with, included are some photos.

Panic 1
Panic 2
Panic 3
Panic 4

I don't have much experience with kernel panics, so I don't know what any of this means...

Anyone else having any issues after updating or is it just me? I can't even really downgrade since there are too many dependencies with attempting to downgrade the kernel, and Chromium crashes after downgrading, complaining about a missing library.

Computer Specs:
Toshiba Qosmio w/Intel i7 Sandy Bridge quad-core processor and integrated GPU, Nvidia GTX-560M discrete graphics card (optimus setup), running Arch Linux with Openbox and LXDE running on top of it.

PS: You might want to fiddle with your registration question, the "/\" looks similar enough to a "^" that it tripped me up a few times.

Re: Kernel Panic after upgrade to Linux 3.14 + other programs

An update.

I rolled back the kernel and all dependencies (including nvidia drivers) and managed to have the computer running for two days before it crashed again, while I was browsing the internet. Call trace was exactly the same, dump screen pointing to the exact same line in timer.c (930).

I ran the latest version of memtest...memory is fine, no errors. fsck in a live usb of Lubuntu yielded no problems in any of the filesystems.

I'm starting to lose my mind. It's getting close to finals and I still have assignments to finish! Why does this have to happen now...?

This is a kernel bug. It looks very similar to this reported error http://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-edac/msg02955.html Contact either linux kernel or linux-edac maillist for more help.

Also try the new linux kernel 3.14.2 that is in [testing] right now.

Re: Kernel Panic after upgrade to Linux 3.14 + other programs

Alright. There is no linux kernel listed in [testing] at the moment - did it get moved to the core repository?

If updating to that doesn't do the trick, I'll poll around in both the IRC and the mailing list for fixes. Seems strange a bug from December 2013 would finally show up in April 2014...
