[SOLVED] Possibly dead project

srcpac seems to be dead: it's been idle for almost two years, but it's still in the official git and binary repos.
Is it dead, will it be removed or will development continue?
Should I file bug reports for it?

I submitted a trivial bug report so the project could be flagged as dead if the bug report wouldn't be assigned. Maybe I'll file another one complaining on general lifelessness.

The developer/mantainer closed the bugreports and uploaded a totally broken new version.
