[Workaround]Remastering archiso ARCH_201405 with lts kernel and ini

My computer can't use the 3.13 or 3.14 kernel. I'm using lts (3.10). Thats fine but want a bootable archiso on usb in case of emergencys. it happens now and then. I wrote over my old one. I downloaded ARCH_201405 but it has the 3.14 kernel so i can't use it on my computer. I'll do another post asking for help fixing this issue but right now I'm trying to remaster the 201405 iso by following this...
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Re … nstall_ISO
i copied it to

~/customiso

I coped my lts initramfs to

/EFI/archiso/efiboot.img

and lts kernel to

/arch/boot/x86_64/vmlinuz

then generated an img with ...

$ genisoimage -l -r -J -V "ARCH_201405" -b archiso/isolinux/isolinux.bin -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table -c archiso/isolinux/boot.cat -o ~/arch-custom.iso ~/customiso

It wont show up in my boot menu. The original archiso does.
This is a EFI system by the way. I use refind.
Do i need to tell the genisoimage to use fat32 fs or something? is there something i need to do to the usb before i dd the image onto it?
