/etc/fstab: /dev/discs/ etc. is no more!

/etc/fstab:
/dev/discs/ etc. is no more!

Does this mean I can remove them.

update the scheme to /dev/hdX.

for example:
/dev/discs/disc0/part1 becomes /dev/hda1
etc.
