d-link dwl-520

ok so i bought 2 wireless pci cards for my desktops. i have the wireless_tools and wlan-ng26 packages installed. Both are d-link dwl-520 one is revision D1 the other revision E1. According to this list http://linux-wless.passys.nl/ revision D1 uses the realtek (rtl8180) chipset which is supported under linux. by default arch doesn't seem to bring it up, and when trying to make the driver from its site it fails to build. Now the other one revision E1 uses the prism driver but it also doesnt come up. i guess im hoping if anyone has any of these cards to help me to get them to work, also if firmware is needed for these cards and where i might get them. thx for any help.
