I have installed bumblebee package. If I do not install bbswitch, the laptop shows excessive heating. However suspend works by pressing Fn+F1 or issuing command - systemctl suspend.
When i install bbswitch, the laptop is fairly cool. Howver now the suspend stops working and even poweroff stops in mid. I have tried configuring /etc/modeprobe.d/bbswitch.conf as per the documentation.
