i am having a wierd battery issue with my arch based laptop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cxzunm8BvaU this is all the information ive got but its annoying
EDIT
i figured id explane it more what happens is after 10 to fifteen it stops charginvg until i unplug the power from the laptop and put it back in then it continues to charge again for another few minutes that stops and blinks more until i unplug and plug back in if i pull the battery while its blinking the laptop sometimes powers off

however it does not happen in any non arch based operating system so i beleve it may be a problem with the arch base system

Also the machine WILL charge when powered off
it may be a failing charger so i suppose its not an arch problem after all but i still dont know why it would work in debian and windows but not anything arch based ![]()

It also charges perfectly fine while booted into the BIOS configuration utility InsydeH20

turns out the brick was undervolting by almost an entire volt below raited and thus could not deliver the required amps causing the system to undervolt i hacked togther a new brick and now everything works i will now mark this topic solved could an admin please close this topic
