today with the new update of ck-kernel (3.14.6-2) my system unable to boot. I use Refind in EFI system with archlinux XFCE. I had to downgrade to the previous version 3.14.5-1-ck with pacman cache.
why this problem occurs only with some versions of the kernel???
my hardware is Lenovo X1 Carbon

Not sure about refind but in my experience, grub is more consistent. I had issues myself and switched in other words. Can you try grub? The two can coexist config file wise.

Do not use grub, however in my system I also "elilo" that works with any kernel without any problem, but I would like to understand why with REFIND some versions of the kernel run regularly and others do not!!

I just wanted to verify that your problem was unrelated to 3.14.6-2. I made some changes to the gcc patch set recently so was concerned. I am no longer if you say it can boot with an alternative boot loader.

Because the stub loader seems to be pretty unreliable.
