Grub command line appears at boot

I just finished a fresh install via the Begginers guide. I am running a bios system with a GPT created with Gparted. I got the system to reboot and give me the Grub command line but for the life of me I can not seem to get it to give me a menu to boot my new sytem.

I am not sure what info you need to diagnose the problem so please just ask.

Thank You,
Roman

Re: Grub command line appears at boot

OK, so I assume you:

1) created a bios_grub partition;
2) followed this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GR … structions.

Could you please post:

1) Your partition layout;
2) (if you remember) The commands you used to install GRUB;
3) contents of /boot/grub/grub.cfg.

Claire is fine.
Problems? I have dysgraphia, so clear and concise please.

Is your drive over the 2.2TB barrier? If so, I'd be curious whether we're experiencing the same issue.
