Submit to nowhere

Not just once, but several times recently, after i've written a post and pressed submit, i got this:

An error was encountered
Error: Unable to delete from online list.

When i go back, everything i wrote is gone.
This is VERY annoying!

Re: Submit to nowhere

It's not specific to submitting a post. I've seen when doing a search or opening a thread.

As for your post disappearing, IMO this is a browser shortcoming.

But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist.

I was thinking about this recently. Is there, like, a Firefox plugin that will save EVERYTHING I type into a plain temporary time-stamped text file or something? Because that would be fabulous.

EDIT: Found it.

Save as text: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo … rea-cache/

Save encrypted: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo … -recovery/

I'm installing Textarea Cache as soon as I get home. big_smile

Re: Submit to nowhere

Incidentally, refreshing at the error screen will repost the data in most (?) browsers. You'll probably be asked to confirm that that's what you want to do.
