Problem with Hotline Miami

I am trying to play Hotline Miami on arch 64 bit. It runs but after about 5-10 mins the game freezes and since I run it windowed, I alt-tabbed to use the desktop but the game has focused on my mouse and the mouse wont click anything on the desktop but the computer is not frozen because I can use the keyboard to open and use stuff just fine. If im in fullscreen in the game, I have to ctl alt f1 into a terminal view and use killall Hotline to get the desktop back in both situations. Does anyone know what is causing this?

Re: Problem with Hotline Miami

More information, come on:
- Graphics card?
- driver package?
- is everything up to date?
- window manager? desktop environment? display manager?
- how do you run the game?
- how did you install it? is the game up to date?

Re: Problem with Hotline Miami

UPDATE: I think I fixed the problem. Due to me using the beta driver for nvidia, I tried the latest stable driver from nvidia and the problem seems to have disappeared.

Re: Problem with Hotline Miami

Good job! Sometimes thinking about all the components between the problem and the kernel can be enlightening!

Mark the thread as solved, please.
