Qt5 font rendering issues

No matter what I try, I can't get fonts in Qt5 apps to look nice. It seems as if qt5 doesn't pick my font settings.

Here's a quick comparison between QtTestBrowser-Qt4 and QtTestBrowser-Qt5: https://mediacru.sh/e6f5595296ae

Situation is even worse in browsers like QupZilla (Qt5) and Otter-browser (also an Qt5 app): https://mediacru.sh/mGH_yiGXnLwF

Any thoughts?

(And no, infinality doesn't solve anything.)

Hey. Did you try hacking the fonts like how it says in the bottom of this page: http://oferkv.github.io/phototonic/

Re: Qt5 font rendering issues

Thanks, but this doesn't help, especially since it turns off antialias (then all fonts in all apps are unreadable). Looks like Qt5 simply renders fonts somewhat more crispier than Qt4. Especially when I use Liberation fonts for interface, it looks really bad in Qt5 apps. I'll try Infinality one more time...
