icon problem after testing upgrade [solved]

I just upgraded to use the testing reposatory, with the new Xorg and everything. Everything seems to work fine except that gnome programs do not seem to be able to load icons or images. I get a:

(eog:2455): Gtk-WARNING **: Could not find the icon 'gnome-fs-regular'. The 'hicolor' theme
was not found either, perhaps you need to install it.
You can get a copy from:
        http://icon-theme.freedesktop.org/releases

if I try and open eog. I tried downgrading to current gtk2, but that doesn't fix anything. Anyone have any idea what the problem is? Thanks

Re: icon problem after testing upgrade [solved]

I tried that, it doesn't help. Gnome programs (such as gthumb or eog) also completely fail to open images. Feh and other image viewers work normally.

Re: icon problem after testing upgrade [solved]

I should have read the large xorg 7.0 thread. All I had to do was copy xorg.sh from abs to /etc/profile.d. my XDG_DATA_DIRS environmental variable was messed up. Sorry for the repost
